Seeker Community Guidelines

Overview
Seeker is a platform for property search and discover property-related content and also positive lifestyle related content that aims to enrich and complete your exciting property seeking journey. We believe users deserve limitless possibilities. Seeker, a platform where users discover pleasant surprises.
We establish Seeker Community Guidelines ("Community Guidelines") to create a welcoming, safe, and positive experience for everyone. The guidelines apply to every users on our platform. They include rules, standards and steps taken to mitigate should the issues arise.
This document will be updated as an ongoing basis, as and when the need arises.
Content Moderation
User and Agent Partner (collectively, “You”) are allowed to create and post property listings, property related content and lifestyle related content (short videos) across nine genres (property, family, travel, food, entertainment, ageing, health, business and car), collectively “Content”. Your content is subject to review (hence, your videos will be marked Pending Review) and will only be made available to public (via On-Market) after our review and content is founded to be in compliance of our posting rules.
Property listing and short video content publish by users are subject to review and will only be available upon approval.
Short video content publishes by Agent Partner is subject to review and will only be available upon approval. As for property listing, as Agent Partner is licensed by Council for Estate Agencies (CEA), the statutory board under Singapore's Ministry of National Development that is responsible for regulating and developing the real estate agency industry, you are expected to be responsible for your property listings. Hence, your property listings will not be subject to review unless we receive feedback on specific listing.
We endeavour to review all of the content uploaded and will either approve or mark the content “Violated” for in violation of Community Guidelines after our review.
Content that violates our rules
Content uploaded subject to review and if found in violation of our rules, the content will be marked “Violated”. You will receive an email informing the content in violation of the Community Guidelines. Violated content will not be made available at all from the platform.
Owing to limited resources, at this moment, we do not have an appeal process in place.
Currently, we only allow content that broadly falls under the following nine genres:
- Property
- Family
- Travel
- Food
- Entertainment
- Ageing
- Health
- Business
- Car
We may expand to include more genres from time to time, and will consider allowing content that might not strictly fall into any of these genres but might be deemed appropriate and foster positive community experiences.

You are encourage to report or flag to us if there is content you found uncomfortable. You can email us at [email protected], so a pleasant, safe and positive environment can be maintained.
If you are found repeatedly violate the rules, your account will be suspended.
Content that is not meeting our standards / in violation of our rules
The followings illustrate the aspects of content that will be considered in violation of community guidelines, once identified.
A. Nudity and Body Exposure
- Including but not limited to showing semi-nudity of adults, such as wearing only nipple covers or underwear that does not cover the majority of the private parts.
B. Sexually Suggestive Content
- Including but not limited to showing adults engaging in intimate kissing, sexualized framing, or sexualized behaviours.
C. Poor Distaste Content
- Including but not limited to:
- Showing shocking graphic content;
- Showing human or animal blood;
- Showing extreme physical fighting;
- Showing graphic or potentially; distressing footage of events that are in the public interest to view, such as clashes with law enforcement or the aftermath of a bombing or natural disaster.
D. Gambling
- Including showing or glamorizing gambling or gambling-like activities, such as filming someone gambling or making any general positive statements about gambling.
E. Alcohol, Tobacco, Drugs and Substance Abuse
- Discussing, showing, promoting and glorifying the consumption of excessive amounts alcohol, tobacco, drugs and abuse of substances.
F. Political / Religious / Racial / Organized Crime / Terrorism / Hate Group / Firearms Related Content
- Showing content containing any elements of such aspects.
G. News and News Derived Content
- Any hard and most of the reporting in nature soft news.
- Hard news refer to factual, timely, and impactful stories, often concerning events with immediate consequences for the public. Examples include:
- Politics: Government actions, elections, policy changes;
- War and Conflict: Reports on military actions, geopolitical tensions;
- Economics: Financial markets, business news, economic indicators;
- Crime: Reports on criminal activity, investigations, and legal proceedings;
- Natural Disasters: Coverage of earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, etc.
- Soft news that is more reporting in nature. Examples include:
- Celebrity news;
- Sports: Coverage of sporting events, athlete profiles, and sports analysis;
- Community events;
- Current affairs news.
- Commentaries, reviews and opinions that are derived from the news.
- The only exception is commentaries, reviews and opinions that are related to property/real estate markets. However, the content should stay away from discussing any political / religious / racial / hate group views.
H. Financial advisories
- Educational in nature content is generally allowed. However, any financial services related content, must be in compliance with relevance rules including MAS guidelines on standards of conduct for digital prospecting and marketing activities.
- Providing clear disclaimers as appropriate.
- Showing content containing any elements of such aspects.
I. Dangerous Activity and Challenges / Self Harm Content
- Showing activity that involves visible or imminent moderate physical harm or self-harm, or promoting activity that is likely to lead to moderate physical harm or self-harm.
- Showing activity that is likely to be imitated and may lead to any physical harm or self-harm.
We would like to foster a positive engagement experience within our platform community. We will also not allow content/comments/messages targeting anyone to degrade or shame him/her, exposing personal information meant to blackmail or harass someone, and repeated unwanted messages or messages using inappropriate language. Repeat posting of such content/comments/messages will result in suspension of account.
We do not encourage violence or attack anyone based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, disabilities or diseases.
