A. Using Seeker App
1. Create an account:
- Download the Seeker app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Open the app
- Choose a sign-up method, then follow the steps to create your account
- A verification code will be sent to your email for your login
Note: No password is needed as every time there will be a verification code sent to your registered email address. You must be at least 14+ years old to create a Seeker account.
2. User Profile
To edit your user profile:
- In the Seeker app, tap Me at the bottom right.
- Tap the big circle on the top left
- On the next Edit Profile screen, Tap the field that you would like to edit
- Follow through the on screen steps
Note:
Nickname is unique for every user. Once taken, you will need to choose another one.
Bio is where you can include statements uniquely defining yourself, and also other social media accounts / links.
3. Agent Partner (Property Agent) Verification
Agent Partner or Property Agent (use interchangeably) will need to be verified before he or she can list their property listing in the On-Market section:
- In the Seeker app, tap Me at the bottom right
- Tap Apply Now corresponding to Property agent verification
- Fill up the form with your relevant professional information
- Tap Submit
- Once verified, there will be a Teal coloured Tick showing it is a verified Agent Partner
Note:
Only verified Agent Partner’s property listing will be made available in the On-Market and be considered to be included in the recommendation to users. Unverified agent partners’ property listing will only be available in the Off-Market section.
4. Agent Partner Profile
To edit your Agent Partner profile:
- In the Seeker app, tap Me at the bottom right.
- Tap the big circle on the top left
- On the next Edit Profile screen, Tap the field that you would like to edit
- Follow through the on screen steps

Agent Partner has additional section, Agent Profile, where you can amend your professional info and tap Submit.
B. Seeker key features
1. Home Screen
Home Screen is the default main screen for most activities.
a. On-Market
On-Market is where all property listings by verified agent partners will be made available and included in personalized recommendation to users. In addition, this is also where personalized short video contents will be recommended to users.
b. Off-Market
Off-Market is where property listings by any users (excluding verified agent partners) who are looking to sell or to rent out (entire unit or room only) their property directly.
The service is intending as an option for users who are considering to handle the selling or renting out process themselves.
Property seekers need to be mindful that they will be dealing directly with users (not property agents), and hence, extra caution is always warranted.
c. How to view details of an On-Market property
- In the Seeker app Home Screen / On-Market, tap any area that within the rectangular area covering from the property headline to the area right above the embedded small pictures (where details of the property such as # of beds, baths, built-up and last updated)
- Tap the top left arrow to go back to the Home Screen from property details page
d. How to DM (Direct Message) or Chat with property agent
- In the Seeker app Home Screen / On-Market, tap the chat button on the right
- Tap Send to send the snapshot of the property listing, to inform property agent your enquiry is to that specific listing
- In the messaging space, enter your message and tap submit button
- Your messages exchange with Agents can be located by tapping the Inbox icon, at bottom right
e. How to Search property listing
- In the Seeker app Home Screen / On-Market, tap the Search icon on the top right
- Enter the key words and press Search
- Filter the results using the options available
f. Social interaction: How to like/unlike, read/post comments and share listing or content
- In the Seeker app Home Screen / On-Market, tap the Heart shape icon on the right once to Like, also at the same time shortlist for subsequent review or reference
- Tap once, the Heart shape icon will turn red
- To cancel, tap the icon again, the icon will turn white colour
- To locate the Liked listing or content, tap Me, tap My Listings, tap Like to see all the shortlisted listings.
Go to Me > My Listings > Like - Tap on the Comments icon on the right to read the comments
- To post your comments, tap on the box Add a comment, enter your comment and tap Send
- To reply a comment, tap on the specific comment that you want to reply or tap the reply below the specific message, enter your comment and tap Send
- Tap on the Share icon on the right to share the listing or short video content. Follow the steps on screen to complete the sharing
C. Create and Post a property listing / short video content
1. Property listing
a. To create and post property listing
- In the Seeker app, tap the bottom middle icon + to create
- Tap For Sale or For Rent
- Complete the page 1 form and tap Continue
- Continue to provide information on page 2 and tap Continue
- After providing information on last page, tap Submit.
- To locate the listing, tap Me, tap My Listing, tap Sale or Rent.
Go to Me > My Listings > Sale OR Rent - For Agent Partner, the property listing will not be subject to review and hence will be available immediately. However, property listing by user will be subject to review before is made available in the platform

b. To edit property listing
- In the Seeker app, tap Me
- Tap My Listings, tap Sale or Rent
- Locate the listing, tap the top right corner three-dots icon
- Tap the options available
- Currently we only allow edit on the status of listing: Sold or Rented, Delist and Delete, depending on your intent
- If any edits require on the listing such as the price or other information, you must first delete the listing of this property, then create and post the listing with the amendments
2. Short video content
a. To create and post short video content
- In the Seeker app, tap the bottom middle icon + to create
- Tap Content
- Add the description that best describe the content
- Starting a new line below your description, tap the #hashtag icon to add hashtag, type in your hashtag if it is not shown, tap Create to add the hashtag, repeat the process to add in other hashtag
- Tap Done
- Tap Related Property if you intend to link the content with one of your property listings (only one property is allowed)
- Select an appropriate Genres for your short video content. Tap Post to post your short video content
- To locate your content, tap Me, tap My Listings, tap Content
Go to Me > My Listings > Content - All short video content will be subject to review, hence Pending Review is shown on the cover of the video
- Once the content passes review, it will be made available for viewing. If unfortunately the content is found violating Seeker Community Guidelines, it will be marked Violated and not be made available at all.
Note:
A hashtag must be written as a single word, without any spaces.
You can include numbers in a hashtag, but punctuation and special characters (such as $ and %) won't work.
b. To edit short video content
- In the Seeker app, tap Me
- Tap My Listings, tap Content
- Locate the listing, tap the top right corner three-dots icon
- Tap the options available
- Currently we only allow edit on the status: Delist and Delete
- If any edits require on the content such as the description or hashtags, you must first delete the content, then create and post the content with the amendments

Short video content that subject to review must be in compliance with Seeker Community Guidelines.
Property listing that is subject to review/ verification must only contain property related information (hence must be in compliance with Seeker Community Guidelines) and also must pass verification.
D. Discover
Discover is intended for users to explore top trending property listings and short video contents, so users are informed on what is going on in the community. Currently we have only included top trending property listings. The top trending list is to show property listings that are rapidly becoming more popular with users. This list is updated every 30 minutes based on our algorithm.
1. How to access Discover
- In the Seeker app, tap the bottom Discover tab
- Default screen is Trending, where the for sale and for rent property listings are combined
- Tap Sale or Rent to access the top trending property listings whether for sale or for rent
E. Inbox
Inbox is designated for receiving notifications, receiving and sending direct messages (DM) to Agent Partners and/or Content Creators.
1. How to access Inbox
- In the Seeker app, tap the bottom Inbox tab
- The screen shows all the messages and notifications that you have been in communication with. The profile photo of each user, name and also the first line of the latest messages are clearly shown for ease of locating the user / messages.
- Tap the person’s photo to access his / her profile. Tap the back button on top left to return to the Inbox
- Tap the area containing the user’s name and messages
- In the Write a message box, enter your message and tap the blue button on the right to Send.
- You can tap the attachment icon to enclose attachments and enter your messages, tap the blue button on the right to Send
- To delete your sent message, tap the message you want to delete, press and hold the message until options pop-up, tap the Delete Message.
F. Managing your account
1. Changing language preferences
Currently Seeker supports English and Simplified Chinese language. You can change the language displayed in your Seeker app at any time.
To change language preferences:
- In the Seeker app, tap Me at the bottom right.
- Tap Settings icon at top right
- Tap Change Language, tap your choice of language. Default language is English
- Tap the Back arrow to go back to Settings screen
2. Delete your account
Should you decide to discontinue using Seeker app, please contact us at [email protected], with the subject title Delete Account, and furnish us the account name and details.
G. Advertisement
Any short video contents that are advertisement in nature will be clearly labelled Sponsored or Promoted

I. Scam
We would like to create a welcoming, safe, and positive experience for everyone.
We endeavour to remove content that we believe purposefully deceives, wilfully misrepresents, or otherwise defrauds or exploits people for money or property.
Scammers target people to trick them into giving away money or sensitive information. Examples could be an offer a quick-and-easy investment scheme or an urgent text message from someone claiming to be a friend in need of financial assistance, or a phishing email claiming to come from Seeker to alert you of issues with your account and asking you to immediately click on a link to learn more.
Scammers typically use fraudulent emails, messages or websites that might appear legitimate to trick people into sharing personal information, passwords or credit card numbers.
There are already many anti-scamming tactics advices and guidance in place on reputable social media platforms. You should follow those advices given. We are hereby not repeating the similar advices.
However, as a platform, we would like to MAKE CLEAR on the followings:
1. Under no circumstances, Seeker platform is collecting any payment, or collecting payment on behalf of any party, and no monetary transaction should be expected in using Seeker app
2. Under no circumstances, Seeker platform is asking for your banking details
3. Only Agent Partners with verified tick are Singapore property agents that have been verified by Seeker
4. Be on HIGH ALERT when: Urged to transfer money prior to viewing house or under any pretence; Listing pricing too good to be true;
5. If suspicious, please do not hesitate to contact us immediately at [email protected] with the subject SCAM REPORT so we can immediately look into such situation and deal with the user account directly
Being vigilant is key in detecting scammers. Often time, when it is too good to be true, it is too good to be true.
